Diaper Dekor now that bags are supposedly less useful??? What are you using for diaper pail?

Everyone always raved about the Diaper Dekor diaper pail, but word on the street is that the new bags they're selling just don't do the trick. Is it still a superior product to the other diaper pails on the market, or should I consider some of the other brands????? This is one of the last things on my list.....

i've been pretty happy with my Diaper Champ so far, and it uses standard kitchen trash bags. it only smells when you open it up. (that said, my daughter's only 11 weeks so there's still time for it to become more potent.)

Huh? I haven't noticed any difference with the new bags.

I actually own two diaper dekors -- one of the old ones and one of the new models. I think that the new bags are absolutely fine. No odor from either pail, which are used by a 3 year old and a 12 week old. Now, I do have a slight preference for the old pail design over the new one, but I'm still glad I bought a second pail for my infant's room.

I have been using a diaper dekor for over a year and have been very happy with it. The only thing I do not like about it is that when it comes to the end of the plastic, then the plastic will just fall to the bottom of the pail. Thus, one day you will open the door to take the diapers out and discover diapers scattered about. I do not know how you can avoid this...

My Diaper Dekor broke after 2 months (hinge). I got the Diaper Champ and it's been working great for over 2 years now. I use regular kitchen garbage bags (sometimes the scented ones). I air it out overnight on trash nights. No odor problems at all.
