Feed (the newsflesh trilogy) is a really good post-zombie apocalypse book

I long time ago I really liked the Andromeda Strain-- no idea how it holds up

The Dog Stars by Peter Heller-- post-apocalyptic. Best book I read last year!

Hmmm... I love post apocalyptic stuff.

Chang Rae Lee has an interesting new book: On Such a Full Sea

I loved the Pesthouse by Jim Crace.

Also The Raven's Gift by Don Reardon

These are all fairly recent and should have an Audible version.

Another vote for Wool (and the sequels, shift and dust). Just read them. Fantastic.

If you really want to get your credit's worth on an Audible book, Swan Song is almost 31 hours long, and The Passage is almost 37 hours long.

In the case of The Stand I think the movie is better.

Pesthouse looks good. This is a good topic.
