PG County Specialty Program Wait List

Has anyone had a pleasant experience with the waitlist for speciality programs in PG County? We're currently No. 3 on one list but from what I was told they could contact us up to September 30th.
I've never heard much of anything good about the wait list. Even the person that I know got in on the waitlist didn't get in until her child was in private school for two weeks. |

| 3rd sounds promising. We never got in with one child in the low twenties and another in the high teens. I think it depends a lot on the program - the TAG magnets have dipped deep in some grades but FI and Montessori barely move at all I've heard. |

| Last year my child was #5 on the wait list at Robert Goddard Montessori and got in for 7th grade. |

| I knew of people whose children were #15, 18 and 22 on the waitlist and got in immediately. |
