But also, it's the best thing that could have happened to Lilly Jay. She is young and can totally remake her life with a worthy partner.

If she had worked it out with Ethan, she'd be tethered to a likely narcissist with horrible character. It's a terrible life too many women suffer through. This is better.

This is true, but the majority of comments I've seen on social media focus on Ethan's looks, not his infidelity.
