Schools in Vienna?

Does anyone have any experience with elemenatry, middle and high schools in Vienna?

We're thinking of moving there as our long-term residence.

I posted my thoughts on Vienna schools in the off-topic forum, but I'll summarize here. I think the schools are great. My oldest went through Louise Archer ES and we loved it. The school has really devoted and caring teachers. It's a Gifted & Talented center school so there's that to add to its appeal. My oldest is now in Kilmer Middle School and really likes it as well. I like it because it is one of the only schools in Fairfax County (or maybe the only school)that emails your child's grades home every 2 weeks so you can keep up with his or her progress in every class. My kids will go to Madison HS and I have heard wonderful things about it from parents of kids with older siblings currently in the school. Thoreau Middle School is also very well regarded. I don't think you can go wrong in Vienna!
