Housekeeper or cleaning service?

| We need to find a new person or company to do a periodic (2x/month) house cleaning. In the past, we've used someone trusted to our family who even had their own key to our house. This was ideal, since we both work and aren't home very often. Do most of you plan a time to stay home while they home, or otherwise how do you find someone new that you can trust to be in your house when no one is there? Thanks. |

Cleaning service. I hate having to pay taxes for a housekeeper.
Ask your friends for referrals (which also act as references). If the service doesn't steal from your friends, it probably won't steal from you either. I also like to be home every once in awhile. But, it sounds like you may not be in a position to do that. |
