| Is it true that when you lipo an area, your body stores fat elsewhere? I hate my thighs, but I've learned how to dress them. I won't know what to do if I start gaining in my stomach instead. |
| Yes it can happen. |
| Yes. I know someone who had it from her thighs and it is now accumulating in her back. Or at least, that's how it looks. Her body is not not at all proportional anymore. |

I think unless you have all your subcutaneous fat sucked out, which is not possible at this point, you will gain weight just as you would before the lipo, just not where you had it done. No fat thighs, but back, belly, arms, etc. will still gain if you're not careful. Make sense, right?
Basically, lipo's not a license to go to town on that cheesecake! |
| No, but you need to stop eating. if you get a tummy tuck it supresses appetite |
| Yes. I had a tummy tuck and lipo to the flanks, and now gain more weight in my thighs/butt. But I'm ok with it. |
Same for me. |
| only if you gain fat. if it can no longer go on your thighs it will have to go somewhere. That is why you really need to be at a good weight, have diet under control and only be looking to remove every stubborn fat deposits before you do it. |
| Of course it will! Please read up on the surgery and long term effects. |
