Protective spray for clothes?

I recently bought a cotton khaki colored jacket. I wanted it because it's cute, but being a SAHM to boys I know I'm bound to get it dirty. Is there a spray or something that I can use that will help make it more stain resistant?

OP here, I thought about Scotch guard but didn't know if I could use it on clothes.
Anyone have any experience with this? |
