| I am 7dpt for a 5 day blast that I had transferred. I took a home pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. How much should I "believe" this reading? I am scheduled to have my first beta on Wednesday. Of course I am very worried at this point because I figured there would be at least a very faint second line showing too. Am I worrying to much or do you think this is probably accurate since I am 7dp5dt? |

There's a chart I found online (that I can't find anymore) that gave stats for HPT accuracy at different points.
IIRC, at 13dpo, 38% of pregnant women register negative on HPTs. Take the odds you're pregnant at all (I think with an FET they're ~50%, but you should check stats for your procedure at your clinic), and multiply that times the 38%. (For example, if the odds of a positive FET are 50%, 50% of 38% is 19%m so you would have a 19% chance of being pregnant, despite a negative HPT at 13dpo.) |

OK, this is not the chart I found before, but it is a chart that indicates what percent of pregnant women got a positive result by dpo:
10 dpo : 35% 11 dpo : 51% 12 dpo : 62% 13 dpo : 68% 14 dpo : 74% 15 dpo : 80% 16 dpo : 88% 17 dpo : 92% |
| OP, wait for your beta before throwing in the towel. 7dp5dt is still early. Wednesday is only two days away. I know it is SO hard, but hang in there. |
| OP here: Thanks Ladies. I am definitely trying not to freak out but am definitely bummed right now. I have been soo certain this would work, and I wanted to take the HPT today to prepare myself for the fact that it may not work. Ive had 6 IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF-- this is pretty much the end of the road for us and I am just depressed at the thought of it not working. |
| I'm pulling for you op!!! |
| OP did you test again? |
no. guess i will just wait for the beta. |
