Dinner tomorrow - Iron Gate, Sushi Taro or Makoto

Haven't been to any of them, and rarely get out. Where should we go?

Iron Gate has great buzz right now, and is great for a date night if that is what you are after. The new chef is phenomenal and the scene now reopened is less stuffy

Makato. Haven't been to iron gate...sushi taro is good, but Makato is a much better dining experience with better food.

Makoto can be physically uncomfortable if you are tall. You might not fit under the tables. My husband is so we had bar reservations but I still couldn't relax in the bar chairs--(the stools might have been backless). The food was amazing though.

Yes, chairs are backless, and dress is fancy.

All three are total winners. With all the buzz, I'm not sure you can get a reservation at Iron Gate.

OP here. Thanks all--scored at Iron Gate, and honestly it was the best dining experience we've had since Citronelle tasting. Really wonderful, cozy, romantic.... Great time; highly recommend!
