Butter. Why did we ever doubt it? http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/26/opinion/bittman-butter-is-back.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&_r=2 I'm going to celebrate with some grass fed organic butter on everything this weeked. Quelle dommage fat-haters. |
| Butter always had a safe haven with me! |
| I am by no means a health food nut, but I haven't eaten margarine in 20 years. There is no need. |
|
| I have only used butter, the unsalted kind. |
| It never went anywhere at my house! |
|
I don't care about the various reports on the the butter. I love it and it will never leave our kitchen.
|
| It never left my kitchen. |
Do they still sell margarine? |
| Same here. Whole foods in moderation have always been the way to go. |
| I never doubted butter. |
| We bought some imported Irish butter from grass fed cows at costco and it's to die for. So freaking good it makes everything else seem like crap. |
| I very very rarely eat butter, because it doesn't agree with my stomach (it's the dairy fat, not the lactose). That said, I don't use margarine as a substitute. Olive and canola oil for cooking. |
| Yep, it's like the people who don't use butter when cooking eggs. I mean you are already there on the egg, cholesterol wise. |
Kerrygold. It's the bomb. |
