I think I need a new psychiatrist, rec for fairfax county?

I started seeing a psychiatrist in Arlington who works in the same practice as my old therapist. His bedside manner is pretty awful. I've seen him three times and each time before I even sit down he asks me "Do you see anyone else in this practice?". I answer him and then the next time he doesn't seem to remember he already asked me this. It's always the first question. Today he seemed irritated before I even sat down, was talking in an argumentative tone even though I was not arguing with him. He cut me off multiple times and when I asked him to please explain how a certain med option might work he told me he "didn't want to get into that". I was only in his office for 5 minutes so I don't see what the huge rush was.
In any case, my therapist did say that some experienced him as a bit "gruff". I think I gave it a fair shot- three sessions. Also I think I need another opinion on med options. I live in Fairfax so I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation? Someone with a lot of experience and hopefully a little more time to give? TIA |

| Thanks. I left feeling sort of crummy inside. Like I had done something wrong. I have anxiety so it didn't help! I am okay now though. |
