I posted this on another thread but curious of opinions in this thread too.
While revisiting colleges during spring break for DC entering fall '14, I asked one admissions office Ivy if there will be any "safeguards" in place when they review 2016 scores since I'm sure there will be a bug or two in the new test until they get the kinks out. I was surprised not only when they said absolutely but encouraged younger DC to take the ACT also.
I wonder if other colleges, Ivy and non-Ivy, are reacting the same way about possible 'bugs' in the new test? Not sure what kind of testing bugs but even as recent as last year, my younger one received an email about irregularities in the SSAT and offered to retake for free, and that test has been around for quite awhile.
