I got an e-mail last Wednesday in response to a job application inviting me for a first reound phone interview. She asked that I propose some times. I responded to the e-mail with several time blocks and I did not hear back by the end of the day Friday. Being paranoid, I checked my sent mail to make sure I had in fact replied and I see that the reply had gone to some generic mailbox; not the e-mail addrress for the recruiter who contacted me (as per her signature block). So Friday just a little before 5, I called her and left a voicemail saying I just wanted ot make sure she got my e-mail because I noticed it went o a generic mailbox. Still nothing.
What do you think? Did they decide the were not interested after all? Is it appropriate to follow up again even though I already left her a voicemail. The thing is, it is pretty much my dream job and I am very well qualified for it. I hate to miss out on this opportunity but also do not want to be hounding the poor recruiter or come across as desperate. (In fact, I am not even actively looking to change jobs--I just peruse job listings every once in a while and came across a perfect job for me).
