My grandmom is receiving hospice and will probably pass away on a few days. I was very close with her and she was more like a mom than grandmom, what do I do? Flowers etc... Thanks! |
If she went to church/synagogue etc. I would start there. Is she lucid? Do you know her wishes? |
My heart is with you during this difficult time.
Before my grandfather passed, some family members went to the funeral home and began the arrangements. They took care of everything, including contacting the church. They were very helpful in knowing what needed to be done. Good luck. |
Hospice will be able to guide you through this as well, even if just to point you in the right direction to get started. Focus on family and taking care of your grandma the way she would have wanted - if flowers or wreaths or whatever wasn't important to you or to her, drop it. Focus on what you need to do to get through this. I'm very sorry for what you're going through. Sending you my best. |
Thank you. Sorry about the typo in the header. It's been rough. |
Sorry OP & agree hospice will help you, and her church. |
