Anyone planning anything for 3/31? What time of day should we expect the lottery results emails to come out? It seems like there should be a collective scream of relief/agony or something. |
A pitcher of margaritas with lunch... all by myself... ah if only I didn't have to go back to work after! |
I assumed we'd all just get on DCUM!!!
What time will we find out? |
I'll join you! |
Will the results be available at the stroke of midnight? I hope I don't turn into a pumpkin after viewing the results. |
I am expecting the results in the morning - maybe 9am, hopefully before.
|
I will check DCUM and the site when I wake up on 3/31. |
I'm hoping that they will come out before then--maybe Friday--and surprise us all. But I'm expecting that, since this is DC after all, we won't get anything until at least noon on 3/31. |
I was in your shoes last year with pre-K. I wish you the best! |
For PS3 and PK have principals been made privy of how many IB families have applied? Just curious of whether school leadership gets a heads up on the unofficial numbers for budget planning (budgets were due last week which was AFTER the lottery closed). |
Painfully late two years ago - 6pm. Can't recall last year's release time exactly but I do remember being shocked it was earlier. It is DC people... Having booze handy is recommended. Really interested to see how the combined plays out. I specifically want to know if it will mean more neighborhood attendance and less commuting for so many. |
Principals know the # of IB families that had applied. I asked the other day if all IB families will get a spot and I was given a response of the # that applied.
Principals also know - how many current families are applying to other common lottery schools (by grade) |
Principals also know how many are siblings.
|
Principals know how many students are applying to other schools? Do they know which ones? |
Everyone stalk a principal! |
