Anyone else feel like they went to sleep with a completely different, semi-normal, body than they woke up with???? Is this normal?? |
YES! There was a point, early on (late in the 1st trimester?) when I looked in the mirror, and despite weighing something similar to what I had weighed in the past (when I was heavier than I was pre-prego), I totally, absolutely, did not recognize my body! It was a completely different shape than it had ever been. Now...30 weeks in, well..... |
OP here - seriously...I am almost 24 weeks and last Sunday I went to bed and woke up with boobs 3 times as big and a larger belly. I'm scared!!! |
don't be scared my dear. you are pregnant! it happens and it is supposed to! embrace it. for one time in your life, your body is supposed to expand. |
Of course, it's normal. You are pregnant! |
That happened to me! I lost about 8 pounds in the first trimester due to vomiting. I gained back about 4 of those 8 and around my 15th week, I looked in the mirror and my stomach (begining right under my breasts all the way down to my lower abdomen) was much bigger than the day before. It was almost like suddenly the 4 pounds (which really weren't "extra" pounds since I had lost 8) landed right there. I continue to think I am much bigger than others who are 17 weeks, actually.... Talk about scared! |
