Rental income, home improvements - is Turbo Tax Premier good enough?

Anonymous
Has anyone had experience with using Turbo Tax Premier for this? We've used regular Turbo Tax in prior years for uncomplicated tax returns but this year we have rental income. Thinking about an accountant as well but was quoted $700 which seems like alot.

It handles it perfectly. Try it, you don't pay until you file anyway.

I use Premier for 3 rental houses, one of which is in another state. It works, but for the first time doing it, you will probably have questions about how to enter your data. Many of your questions will already have answers on the huge database of questions Turbotax keeps.

I'd also recommend looking at the actual forms Turbotax fills out to see if what it generated makes sense to you.
