Specialty lottery drawing

When is the specialty lottery drawing being held. I cannot find the date.

They bumped the lottery entry deadline so I'm assuming the drawing got bumped too. As with most things PGCPS finding the correct info on the website is nearly impossible

I can't find it either. The timeline just says sometime in April letters are mailed. I hate how secretive they are about the whole process. It makes everything look suspicious.

Before the website said March 25th. I do not understand why deadlines are changed. Although it has snowed the opening for applying has been available for a long time. There should have not been any change to the lottery drawing unless school or snow happened the day of the drawing. Ugh!

The new drawing date is March 31, per the schools website.

They claim that the change in the drawing date will not impact the results timeline.

I wonder if the link to access lottery results will be posted this week. If anyone finds out please post the link here! We are hoping for a spot at least for the performing arts. My daughter does not speak french and since she is in first grade misses the spanish lottery. So that leaves us this year with only one option. To all waiting i hope you get what you applied for.

Newbie here... do they post results online (ie. for Robert Goddard, etc) or is it mailed in a letter or is it an email?

As parent hoping to do this in future, I'm curious to see the results link too! Just checked out the charter link - couldn't believe the number of applicants for some of the grades/schools (well, I guess I can believe it, but don't want to).
