Looking for a restaurant for a ladies night out. Any suggestions?
In McLean, Evo Bistro and JGilberts both have lively ladies nights, I've noticed.
I have never found J. Gilbert's to be "lively" unless you're over 60. Their happy hour seems to have a lot of people in that age range. |
Harth
For me, Mexican always is fun and festive, even if that food isn't that great. (The chips and salga and margs are good anywhere!) There's On the Border on Leesburg Pike/Tysons, and Julio's in in Reston Town Center on a corner. Both have good bar areas, too. Maggiano's in in Tysons also. Good italian, pizza, and wine. Where ever you go, have fun!
La Sandia in the mall has a lively happy hour.

Sakura hibachi where they do the food grilling in front of you Capital Grill |
There's a new wine bar in Tyson's II - Vino Volo or something like that. My colleague went with some friends and had a nice time. I also agree with PP about Harth.
Chima!
Open Road near Merrifield Garden Center on Lee Highway in Merrifield has live music every evening. We've been twice and enjoyed it.
Isis Lounge, formerly e-Citi has a dance floor and I have girl friends who always pick that place when they are in a dancing mood.
*Iris Lounge
