I hope I'm posting this in the right category.
Would love to hear from parents on what they've loved (and not loved!) at school auctions lately. Does is an assigned parking spot desirable? Concert tickets? Please share! TIA! |

Special outings with the teachers are always a hit.
Museum visit with the Art teacher Kennedy Center with the music teacher Movies with the homeroom teacher. Ball game with the gym teacher. Etc |
| The popular items at our school were sports tickets, art projects by each classroom, and theme baskets by each class. Popular theme baskets were wine, cooking, BBQ, garden, etc. |
| Prime reserved parking space all year was always a big money maker. |
| At our school each teacher offered something, like having a playdate at her house or babysitting on a Saturday. My kids loved those! |
| My brother and SIL won a week at an OBX beach house. We all were invited to join them and had a great time. |
| Name the gym! |
| Those poor teachers. It's not enough for them to teach, now they have to be the best prize at the school auction. |
| Reserved seating at school events. |
|
Whoever can pay the most gets to be teacher's pet for the day.
ick |
| Not having to participate in the auction! |

Principal for the day
Do various activities with a teacher Front row parking (we are at a Catholic school so front row parking for each mass for a year was an option too) Vacation packages Cooking packages (we have some parents at our school who are great cooks and you could bid on them cooking your family dinner every night for a month) |
| I vote for 00:01. I hate school auctions. I've run them, bought them, begged for contributions but it's always the same and boring. Can't anyone think up another way to raise funds? |
