Latin American Bilingual Montessori Charter School

Anonymous
We're very interested in the Latin American Bilingual Montessori Charter School in DC for our daughter. Does anyone know about what percentage of kids in the lottery get a slot each year? Any experiences with the school?

Thanks!

Heard through the grapevine that it's fabulous. "Private school for free" was one comment. We're applying for this year since our twins are already bilingual.

It's just for d.c. residents, right?

Last summer our son played on a soccer team with kids from LAMB. All the parent with whom I talked were very pleased with the school. As with any school, you need to go and visit it to get your own feel. But, my second-hand impression was very good.

And, yes, it is only for DC residents.
