S/O wiaver issue: what happens to 8th graders?

Anonymous
DS is convinced that because he has his 8th grade "graduation" on the 11th, he won't have to go to school even if the waiver isn't granted.

Has this been mentioned at all?

the only graduation that is recognized by the state is high school. this faux graduation is such a joke just liek the ones from pre school and elementary.

the school will go on with the faux graduation -actually i think they have to call them celbrations instead of graduations in the correspondance.

so yes it will go on as scheduled and he wil be in school a few more days after.

Here's a nicer response: He will have to go to school for the remaining days, just like the other grades.

Does it really matter? You son"graduates" on the 11th, stays home on the 12th when absolutely nothing will be accomplished, and attends the 1/2 day on the 13th at whichever HS he'll be attending next year.

Folks, the waive WILL be granted. School will end Friday June 13.
