I am a middle aged mom trying to stay as fit and active as possible.
My current exercise modes are walking and attending Pilates classes. I am burned out with gym memberships and circuit training. My days of 10+ mile hikes on the weekends may be over, because I get achy joints. But I would like to work up to 5+ mile hikes. Has anyone tried the Leslie Sansone tapes and what did you think? If so, which ones would recommend? |

I used to use them. I found the one that combines walking and kickboxing (kick boxing for the older crowd) to be fun but not quite long enough. So I would do one part of it twice.
I found the longer walking ones to be horribly boring and it hurt my knees. I do not know why it hurt my knees, but it did. |
| My mom uses them and it has really been her key to weight loss and fitness. She lives in New York and they are great in the winter because she doesn't have to get dressed or leave the house to do them. I do think accessibility helps maintain a routine, which seems to offer more benefits than high intensity regimens that do not last long. |

OP here,
Thanks for the comments. I'm going to give them a try! |
| I used to use them until I got bored. After you watch a time or two I suggest muting it and getting your music. She is kind of annoying to me. |
| I love them! They are a great way to get back into exercising and you can make adjustements to stay challenged as it gets easier. |
