Nice Restaurant near George Mason in Fairfax for a graduation party?

Anonymous

My cousin is graduating from George Mason this May. Any recommendations for a nice restaurant near
George Mason in Fairfax for a graduation party of 30 people? TIA!

That's a large group and a lot of the nicer restaurants in that area are pretty small. I think Trummer's on Main in Clifton has an event room. And there is a nice country club just down the street from GM that will hold events for non-members.

I've heard the one at the Mason Inn is great. Maybe it's on campus?

Bryon's Grille is not super fancy but I've seen people hold graduation parties there. It's right across from GMU in University Mall.

If you don't mind driving a bit, you can head over to the Maggiano's in Tyson's lots of rooms for events. Or you may have some options in Fairfax Corner (lot of restaurants there).

I was going to say 2941 is very nice, but that's a big crowd. Not sure you want to do that many there -- it would be expensive.

The Trummer's event room sounds very nice.

Bellissimo Restaurant- it's a couple of minutes drive from George Mason. My friends sister had her daughter's graduation celebration there and it was phenomenal she said.

The Wine House has very yummy food - right in downtown Fairfax City. It can take a crowd about that size.

FYI - the Mason Inn is being renovated and turned into dorms because there is so much demand. I doubt it is still operating because they wanted to get it set for fall, but could be wrong.

Definitely Bellissimo Restaurant- it's the best food and ambiance for a celebration. (Nice family friendly owners, too!) We've eaten there a million times!

I think red robin has a party room, maybe far for you, but I have been to showers there and it was nice. 30 is a good crowd for a party room at a restaurant
