What color to paint the walls for ikea hemnes gray-brown collection?

I just bought the ikea hemnes gray-brown collection. I am at a lost as to what color I should paint the bedroom walls. Any ideas on what color would compliment this furniture color? Thanks!

Light blue looks nice

Definitely a sophisticated lavender. Not Polly pockets purple, but a subtle, very light lavender with a bit of gray in it

Personally I would paint the bedroom blue with grey undertones. You could also do an earthy green or purple.

OP here. Those are great colors but I can't see my husband waking up to those colors. He is way too masculine.

I agree. Benjamin Moore Nantucket Fog, or Winter Lake.

Yes, I think that would work best, because the clean bright colors like suggested by the PP would make the furniture look kind of dull or "dirty". A light gray with a blue undertone would be nice like in this picture

My son has the Ikea furniture and his room is painted Ben Moore's Puritan Gray-(it looks like a blue gray on the wall). Looks good.

I have ikea hemnes grey bedroom set and i colored the walls with London Couch color which was taupe, fits perfectly !

If you want an off-white, I just redid my kitchen with greyish brown painted cabinets (not Ikea, but similar in tone to the stuff you're talking about.) After a lot of experiments and at least one full paint job with the wrong color, I went with Edgecomb Gray (Ben Moore) and it's great.

Grey furniture with grey walls sounds depressing.

I liked the Mountain Stream and Socialite colors PP listed. They seem "masculine" enough.

I agree with the taupe suggestion. I have a piece from this collection and while I would describe the furniture color as grey, there is definitely brown in it.

We just painted our bedroom this color and love it. Looks great with browns and grays.
