Bean recipes...

I'm looking to cook more beans during the week. Canned or dry, and would love some recipes since I have no idea where to start. I have some canned black beans, they're lovely, but don't know how to use them or to give them flavor. Thanks so much for any help!

I would start smaller, with 1/4 or 1/2 pound of beans. The original recipe makes ALOT. It's easy and good.

11:57 back - kids like this with sour cream and salsa - with the beer it has great flavor and is a pretty good use of black beans.

I make a quesadilla with smashed black beans and a light sprinkle of sharp white cheddar. I also love black bean soup, or chili.

Black beans are awesome because you can throw them in a lot of things. I love them either in quesadillas or in scrambled eggs (with some salsa and in a breakfast burrito yum)
