The owner of these cats is battling serious health issues and can no longer care for them. She is also facing eviction from her apt soon. A volunteer with the MCSPCA is trying to find them new homes.
SEARS - black, neutered male, ~ 8 yrs old Sears is a happy-go-lucky guy who doesn't know that he's about to become homeless... again. In 2010 he was surrendered at the county (kill) shelter. He's eartipped but not feral. No one adopted him and his "time was up.” An MCSPCA foster volunteer took Sears home and nursed him through a nasty upper respiratory infection he had picked up at the shelter. That’s when she saw what a sweetheart he is, because even with a “stranger” handling him for meds and subQ fluids, he never got cranky. In fact, he liked to settle into her lap to get his fluids. Sears loves to eat…. is a talker…. enjoys catnip.....snuggles with his person…. and likes other cats. He is perfect about using the litter box, and is even fine with getting his nails trimmed. EMMA - black, spayed female, ~ 3 yrs old Emma is a beautiful little cat who was dumped in a carrier at a Home Depot and left in there for 48 hours before someone discovered her! She came from a feral colony originally and is shy, but affectionate. Really a delightful girl. She is buddies with Sears and the two enjoy Greenies chicken dental treats.
