Cribs in store???

Ladies
I am trying to find store where cribs will be actually displayed. I checked wal mart and target (assuming those are large stores and would hav espace to display large items). They do not. I found a crib online which I would love to buy, but shipping is half of the price and i would also like to touch-feel this crib to mke sure it is durable, not-shaking. Are there any stores where selection of cribs wuld be displayed? BTW i am not talking about 1-2 cribs in a store, more like 10-15 t least

Both Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby have large displays of many different cribs set up.

yes both these stores had a ton of them. There's BBRUS in VA and MD, but Buy Buy Baby is only in MD in Bethesda/Rockville. Of course, nothing in the city

There is also a Buy Buy Baby in Springfield, VA. Baby2Teen in Manassas also has displays of cribs. It is a haul, but they have great customer service and a great selection.

Great Beginnings in Gaithersburg also has a large selection of cribs on the showroom floor.

Great Beginnings has a wide selection of cribs (and other baby furniture) on display. They charged $75 for local delivery and set-up. However, you should know that it's a higher-end store. Much more expensive than Target and BabiesRUs. Unless you happen to find a clearance/sale, their regular cribs started at $300-350.

Daisy Baby in Bethesda also has a room full of cribs and nursery setups. It's also somewhat higher end.

OP here. Than you very much all!!
I am looking to spend about $250 (max) on a crib a I figured it is ok budget based on selectioni could seeonline. i am looking for solid wood 3-4 position crib. I guess Baby R Us should then work as it is the closets to me store.

Also at Burlington Coat Factory - in the Baby Depot section. We actually end up buying the crib on display since it was reduced (because of a few scratches which we thought were minor and didn't matter to us) - plus no assembly

They had gliders and strollers on display too.

We were at Great Beginnings yesterday and they had about two dozen cribs on clearance. Most were between $199 - $299. It looked like most were discounted 50% off of their original price.

Baby2Teen also has a clearance room in the back with discontinued furniture, or display models that probably have some scratches on them. They have a pretty wide range of prices. I liked shopping there, it's locally owned, which is nice.

Ditto on IKEA. They have great, affordable cribs (we got ours for $159). Baby Bargains given them their highest rating -- an "A".

Have you checked out baby bargains. They do give a crib recommendation in that price range -- only one though. I think either Target or BRU sells it. Good luck.
