Any place in FFX co for people to just visit / play with cats?

Like a shelter that allows / encourages thus? We rent right now and can't get a pet yet, but my preteens would just love to be around them.

The local shelters are usually happy to have volunteers come help with the animals. They may have an orientation program before letting you interact with the animals.
Also check out cat rescues. Does your lease ban pets altogether? If not, perhaps fostering a cat is an option.

There's a pet store on pickett street in fairfax that lets you play with the animals. my daughter goes there when she needs a fix!
it's beside chuckee cheese.

I bet the Fairfax shelter would be thrilled to let you come in and play with cats there.

FOHA is just over the border of Fairfax and you can pet lots of sweet kitties!

Don't go to the shelter in downtown Fairfax. There is a lady that works their that is AWFUL! We bought my elderly father their to pick a cat and she wouldn't even let him see/interact with some most of the cats. Her attitude was so bad it was shocking
