ASA 09 parent here. The 2009 team opponent was very talented, maybe more physical that our girls are accustomed to. VRSC won the 09 game

Another ASA parent here. VRSC was certainly more physical. We had a few chances that we just couldn’t capitalize on. The goalie on VRSC was very intimidating and solid. As far as field players go I didn’t think VRSC had anyone that was superior to the players on our squad except #22. She was impressive and the most talented player on VRSC. Congrats to VRSC on the win.

Agree. #22 did not score or was not part of any of the goals so I find that an odd comment. She was really fast but probably hurt the team since she didn’t pass. 1st half we did well and it was 0-0. It wasn’t until middle of the second that VRSC broke through. They also got a goal right before full time.

They were the better team but not by as much as many think. Good luck to them this season.

At what age level is this happening? Is it a HC? I haven’t seen anything like this on our team and there are only 3 HC at this club.
