Destination recommendation for an April trip w/2 year old?

Looking for something I'd enjoy - it's for my birthday - where my son would also have fun (and maybe have time with a sitter/ at a kids' club, if he's not too young?). Looking to go for long weekend, up to a week. Some place beautiful and relaxing - more interested in out of doors than sightseeing.
