Mater Amoris Montessori School -- any recent opinions?

Anonymous
We have our child in a montessori preschool right now and really like the learning style of the method. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with Mater Amoris Montessori School up near Olney/Ashton? I can;t find any recent postings about it -- and I am not interested in old postings as I want current parents' views ideally.

I think the MGPS are very well regarded and so I am trying to learn more about what people think of continuing montessori beyond Kingergarten and if they have any experience with Mater Amoris specifically? Thanks for any advice or insights.

The MA kids turn out amazingly great considering there is no entrance test, They make winners out of the unsuspecting and are very nice and nurturing. It was the best accidental find we ever made. Kids end up at top colleges.

Just stumbling on this query. Our son is there now and I honestly cannot say enough good things. We feel so lucky to have found them.

Both of my children attend MA and we couldn't be happier! Only wish they continued through 8th grade so we wouldn't have to look for another school after 6th grade!

NP here. We are considering MA for our 4yo. Any one has any opinions on that classroom? when we visited it felt like there were a lot of kids and few teachers/assistants.

Our child started MA at 4 and went through all the way until the 6th grade graduation. She and her classmates did amazingly well. Our kid was very average and ended up at an Ivy thanks to MA.

You won't find a nicer school than MA. They focus on every kid not just the favorites or superstars.

NP here. we are also very interested in The Primary Program at MA. our DD is 4. we just visited the school and really liked the upper grades but Primary felt cold and not friendly. also it kind of looked like there was 1 teacher and 1 assistant and there were 20 kids. which did not feel like a good ratio. Are there any primary MA parents out there that can comment.
