how many DPO will you see a BFN on a test?

| I am trying to figure out when I ovulated...I tested on a friday and it was negative, but then positive on tuesday. My periods are very irregular |

OP, if you're irregular, it's going to be hard to figure it out this way. Your scan is the best way to determine ovulation and due date.

Based on a 30 day cycle, when would you test in relation to next expected period? (i.e. on day you expect period, two days after?)

| At 12 dpo I actually got a negative, but then didn't test again until 18 dpo with a digital test and I got a positive |
