Where to find historical stock prices

Anonymous
I purchased stock a while ago that I recently sold that is now worthless due to bankruptcy. This was before they started tracking your cost basis so I'm not sure how much I paid for it although I do have an idea of when I bought it. Are there any programs or databases that list historic values of stock, say like 10-15 year old data? I don't see the information on google finance.

Yahoo Finance goes back all the way to the company's IPO.

Maybe try the Wall Street Journal? Way back when (before the Internet!), they published stock prices daily.

They don't have this one. The symbol is ADELQ if that helps. Adelphia Communications Company. It automatically converted to a bankruptcy trust a year or two ago but ADELQ was the original ticker symbol.

Ask the broker you bought it with.

I'll give that a try. I think it was E-trade / Ameritrade.
