| I purchased stock a while ago that I recently sold that is now worthless due to bankruptcy. This was before they started tracking your cost basis so I'm not sure how much I paid for it although I do have an idea of when I bought it. Are there any programs or databases that list historic values of stock, say like 10-15 year old data? I don't see the information on google finance. |
| Yahoo Finance goes back all the way to the company's IPO. |
| Maybe try the Wall Street Journal? Way back when (before the Internet!), they published stock prices daily. |
They don't have this one. The symbol is ADELQ if that helps. Adelphia Communications Company. It automatically converted to a bankruptcy trust a year or two ago but ADELQ was the original ticker symbol. |
| Ask the broker you bought it with. |
I'll give that a try. I think it was E-trade / Ameritrade. |
