Recommend your elderly parent's internist/geriatrician..Rockville area

Hi. Can anyone recommend an internist for my elderly parent? She just moved to the area and is in independent living in the Rockville area.. So, ideally, I am looking for someone in the Rockville, Silver Spring, Chevy Chase, Bethesda area.

She is 87 years old and suffers from macular degeneration. We do have the name of an eye doctor for the macular degeneration. For the most part, she is still "with it" but I notice that she is getting more and more unsteady and not as sharp as she used to be.

Someone who is good about following up with a patient, not abrupt, and good with a sweet old woman, etc.

Does this exist anymore in medicine?
