Swiss and Cayman Bank Accounts - Ease of Access?

Family has recently come into a decent bit of money from sale of old family business (roughly $160 million pre tax).

DH is being told to set up some of the money, post taxes, etc, in offshore accounts due to concerns with long term American economic stability in order to diversify risks and maintain anonymity.

How accessible are these funds? Does it take a long time to recover them f needed? Do these banks have debit cards set up for daily use?

I'm long America. But, if America keeps electing folks like Obama and the democrats, I want to have a backup plan. Under dems, my family is enemy #1 - successful, God fearing folks who believe in limited govt will have no place in the de blasio/Hillary camps of the future.

I keep several hundred million in a Swiss account. They give you a platinum debit card with your picture on it. It's really heavy. That always surprises the cashier at Target for some reason.

I keep a hundred and one million. I also got the platinum debit card with my picture on it. I also get a Christmas card every year
