Infertility Support and Discussion
| i know in theory this is too early, but also know people who had BFP's on this day (9dpo). UGH UGH UGH. |
| This is why they don't want you to test early. I still had no line at 10dp5dt (the day of my blood test). He's three. |
|
WAY TOO EARLY!!!
|
| this is OP. I had a pretty good line with my son (this is my second round of IVF cycles for baby #2) at 5dp5dt and I had a line with my chemical pregnancy that go round also, so am convinced lines have to appear by 5dp5dt on the sensitive tests. PP with no line at 10dp5dt what brand of test was that? I know these tests work for me because of DS pregnancy. |
| You are operating under the assumption that all embryos implant at the same time. In fact, they do not. I know many people who have had negatives at 4dp5dt and positives at 7dp5dt. And, one friend had a completely negative test the morning of her beta (13dp5dt) and was in fact pregnant with a high beta. Her DD is turning 5 this month. |
Exactly. OP, your assumption that you will have the same exact pregnancy every time is as off-base as believing that your children will be exactly the same. It doesn't work like that. |
| This is OP I hope you guys are right! I just know that my body metabolizes hCG that is pretty detectable on test or at least was with my two prior pregnancies including the chemical so I am skeptical but I absolutely hope you guys are right |
|
I'm not trying to give you false hope, OP. But I suspect you've tested too early. I used the FRER and the Wondfros - both very sensitive - and only tested positive with a VERY faint line (a squinter so faint I needed DH to confirm I wasn't imagining it) at 6dp5dt.
My first BFP (DD1) my first beta was 975 and my second BFP (DDs 2 and 3 - twins) my first beta was 1575. So I had really strong betas from the start and still didn't test positive until 6 days past transfer. |
Okay, now you're just really annoying. You don't know shit about how your body metabolizes anything. I guess I should be nicer because you are trying to get pregnant and IVF is no walk in the park. Stop obsessing and thinking you know more than you do. Wait a couple of days and test again. |
| This is Op yes please don't be mean I am very fragile right now you have no idea how much medication I am on and how irrational and hormonal and stressed out I feel I feel like even some stranger on the Internet being mean to me might send me into tears right now so please be kind and don't over analyze me |
| OP, step away from the internet. Go out for some coffee or a walk. |
+1 Trying to decide if you're pregnant by asking on DCUM is insane |
| NP: BE NICE PEOPLE. she's not trying to ask if she's pregnant on DCUM. she's asking about people's experiences with HPT's. I am 6 weeks pregnant and I was THAT girl a few weeks ago, so I know how this feels. OP, hang in there, you may be too early. |
| this is OP: PP who didnt test + until 6dp5dt and had that high beta- what day does your clinic do betas? 975 is so high for 14dpo! |
| Way too early. I had a barely there line at 7dp5dt with a first response. My husband could see it on 8dp5dt, it was clearly a line at 9dp5dt. My first beta was 266 and I'm 20w |
