Oh!! Reports, plural ?? Oh!!! Please share unless of course those reports were created by reporters on this thread…. |

First, I hate that I’m thinking about this (shakes fist at universe for the internets)!
So Occum’s razor in order of likelihood: 1) K did have major surgery and is pumped full of steroids making her swell viscously and as a public figure nearly exclusively lauded for her beauty, she feels psychologically unable to be seen like that. Against: proof of life could include an audio message expressing her regret at doctoring the image. Done. Media storm over. She’s alive. Leave the sick mom alone. But then…. Just radio silence? Why? A single audio clip would shatter the online fever. Something bigger might explain all the oddities, which without hashing out pure speculation regarding affairs etc are truly damming and flat out weird - no conspiracy theory needed. Such as why there was not a single image of family visiting Kate in hospital except for one planned photo opp w/ William? Really… her “incredibly” close immediate family never seen even once visiting? Kate’s mom and dad MIA for over a month from public view but her sister out and about and brother on a ski trip while Kate convalesces in hospital for two weeks?!? Weird. Both pap images solitary, not a stream of pics released? Do paps actually take a single image of a moving car? They don’t. Strong case for both pap pics being fakes. If paps wanted images of Carole Middleton out and about as she helps her daughter’s family while she recuperate at home, we would have them in spades. Or William at back entrance of hospital daily. Easy. Clearly, there has been a deal struck for privacy w/ UK media and an expectation they not bite the hand that feed them. So then why did they agree? If the outlets have agreed to lie for the royals then there is an argument to be made that this crisis is existential for the Crown and its media ecosystem. There are pics of an ambulance rushing from Sandringham to the hospital on December 28. Kate was reportedly at that location for the holiday so it might well have been her in that motorcade that evening. What illness could be the end of the crown? A repeat of Diana’s nightmare. Could this have involved self-harm? Honestly, I just can’t think of any other illness that would warrant this kind of media lockdown and absolute vanishing. Everyone falls ill. That is in fact sympathy generating. Perhaps they don’t trust Kate to say what they need her to say? The worldwide media frenzy could be shutdown in a minute if they were capable of doing so. Apparently, they are not. I hope she’s just bloated though. If so, their entire PR department needs to be fired yesterday. |
Speak up to whom? |
Exactly. Kate does respect and honor her role. She would help quell the rumors regardless of how she looks as it's now damaging KP's credibility. She's not willing to work with them so something serious is happening outside of health issues |

Why, to the rescuers on this thread! Don’t you see how motivated these chicks are to save Kate from William and Camilla and (insert others at whim)? |
This explains a lot https://www.niemanlab.org/2024/03/this-is-just-weird-buzzfeed-news-former-royals-reporter-on-kate-middleton-palace-press-and-distrust-in-the-media/ |
No, her writing career is built on conspiracy theories: "Calleja claims to have covered the royal family for 27 years. According to her website, she has written two books about Princess Diana, one of which is an investigation into the conspiracy theory that the beloved royal was murdered. [Ed. note: Another one of Calleja’s books suggests Michael Jackson was murdered.]" https://www.niemanlab.org/2024/03/this-is-just-weird-buzzfeed-news-former-royals-reporter-on-kate-middleton-palace-press-and-distrust-in-the-media/ Conspiracy theory "A conspiracy theory is an explanation for an event or situation that asserts the existence of a conspiracy by powerful and sinister groups, often political in motivation, when other explanations are more probable." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theory Why some people are willing to believe conspiracy theories "The researchers found that overall, people were motivated to believe in conspiracy theories by a need to understand and feel safe in their environment and a need to feel like the community they identify with is superior to others. .... The researchers also found that people with certain personality traits, such as a sense of antagonism toward others and high levels of paranoia, were more prone to believe conspiracy theories. Those who strongly believed in conspiracy theories were also more likely to be insecure, paranoid, emotionally volatile, impulsive, suspicious, withdrawn, manipulative, egocentric and eccentric." https://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2023/06/why-people-believe-conspiracy-theories |
lmao the photo is a conspiracy KP created themselves. Not owning and just continuing to lie about it is shameful. |
It was definitely a misstep, but they apologized and owned it. Why is it so hard to believe that Kate did that? |
not even close |
Now you’re saying H&M control KP, Kate and William and made them do that awful photoshop and retraction? Or are you saying Camila? |
|
We are invested because Diana.
She died because the BRF screwed up. She desperately loved her boys and although we may not like William, his kids are innocent and need their mother. I think this thread, the analyzing, conspiracy conjectures, etc are all because of that. We don’t want it to happen again. |
| Ambulances??? Plural? When? So, it was not a planned surgery? |
