I've recently had foot surgery and still have a fair amount of swelling, which apparently can be expected to last for a year. I work in a fairly casual office and need some kind of work-appropriate, non-heel shoe that I can wear with dresses and/or pants. The flats I have now (Merrell and Clarks) are still iffy on me being able to shove my feet into.
Any suggestions on what to do? Do I buy wide? |

Hi OP. Yeah, I would buy wide, or a size larger (I had an ORIF surgery in December and another several years ago.)
Buy on the cheap side since these shoes will not work once the swelling's gone. I got some basic looking black oxford things on Zappos that are doing the trick. |
