If you do homemade flavor infusions for water

Anonymous
About how long does the water last before going off? I'm looking around at those new infusers for pitchers and bottles and wondering which one I should be looking at. None of them seems to get really good reviews. Has anybody found a good alternative using something other than an infuser tube? I don't want to just float the friut on top.

Why not just float the fruit on top? Just make a pitcher at home overnight in the fridge and then take out the fruit or herbs in the morning.

I got that as part of a bridal shower gift. I absolutely love it. Has good reviews to from Amazon. We usually finish the pitcher in a day so I can't really tell you how long it stays fresh beyond that.

The friend who bought me the pitcher has the below one. She got me the one I have just because she knows that I love ice cold water.

I am using mine as we speak (lemon), with the tube, and live it. My favorite is watermelon in the summer. My kids like it too, better alternative than Gatorade for us.

Doesn't lemon get really bitter if left too long?
