I in need of some nice restaurant suggestions for a 40th bday celebration - 4 people - tomorrow. Close to DC, Bethesda, Potomac, or Tysons area

Price range, type of food and atmosphere?

I absolutely love Alegria in Vienna, tons of character, and more so than their more popular restaurant right next to it. Although they are in the process of changing Alegria's name to Bazin's Next Door and doing cuisine other than upscale Mexican.

But it's a fabulous little place with great atmosphere and delicious food, perfect for a party of four for a birthday.

I find Capital Grille overpriced and boring. If you get to Estadio before 6:30, you don't have to have a reservation. It's on 14th St. On MacArthur Blvd, Et Voila is always great and that's close to Bethesda. There's a great Japanese place on MacArthur. Prix Fixe. Fabulous and beautiful. It only has 10 tables though. Other really good restaurants will be hard to get into without reservations.
