I have a bedroom with a dark wood chair rail shelf running around it (use this as a bookshelf). The walls above the rail are white, and the wall below the shelf was painted a deep cranberry bed- the floors are hardwood. It's kind of a small space, and I need a new duvet cover. What could I do besides plain white that would work and not make the room look even smaller and darker? A dark slate blue striped duvet cover was just too dark... but I tried one set of pale mint green sheets with the bare white comforter & that surprisingly wasn't that bad.... TIA for any ideas! |

I think white would look best, sorry. Maybe you can find something white with a very subtle red design on it, like embroidered, something not too busy. |
Are you male or female? If you are female there are some really pretty feminine white ruched covers.
