Where did you get your shed? What do you like about it?

We're in the market for a shed. I've sort of dabbled looking at Home Depot and Lowes. Does anyone have ay advice on where to look? Or did you get one from Home Depot or Lowes and love it? What qualities do you think make a good shed?

I had a Big Max from HD. It's plastic is it is indestructible. Fairly easy to put together. You really need a level base though or else the doors won't line up.

Home Depot. Gets the job done

Got ours from Home Depot -sheds USA. It's wood with windows and shutters and we painted it a fun color. They built it on site, but we spent a lot of time prepping the ground where it was to go to make sure it was flat with crushed rock. Next shed I'll hire someone to do the ground prep.

We bought ours from Costco. Even with the membership fee, it was more price effective than Home Depot. Delivered for free (ie included in the price).

We had a concrete pad poured a bit larger than the actual shed. It took DH an afternoon to put it together. Sturdy, lockable (although we haven't bothered). The color was acceptable to us. Not too "country" looking. Were able to get accessories for it (shelving, hooks, etc) from Amazon. Ours is some sort of composite, making it less likely to rot or be eaten by bugs.

Take your time to read the instructions carefully when putting it together, or you will end up taking even more time to re-do parts. DH has a tendency to rush these things and ignore the instructions. Would not have been disastrous, but he would have had to re-do a few things if I hadn't interfered.

Costco. They installed too for a few hundred. We got a call from the manufacture. We planned to DIY. Have had it a few years and still looks great.

Capitol Sheds. Lots and lots of options. Much higher quality than what you will find in a box store

The costco shed has been great. For a plastic shed, it's not too hillbilly looking.

We used them too, but we have a strict HOA and the roof shingles have to match the house and the siding has to match the siding of our house. So custom was the only way we could have one.
