Looking for a new Haggadah

Anonymous
We're ready to buy an updated Haggadahs for Passover this year. Does anyone have recommendations of ones which are family friendly, but work for all generations?
Thanks.

My favorite haggadah lately one put together by Rabbi Rachel Barenblat (who blogs as the Velveteen Rabbi), that she makes available on her website as a PDF. It's a fairly modern/progressive haggadah so I'm not sure it's what you are looking for (but it doesn't cost anything either).

Glad that helped. Realized I perhaps should have used the link where you can find it on her blog--

I love this one. It's a beautiful book and has suggested options for different sedar lengths and audiences, as well as questions and activities. Although it contains all the traditional elements, It is rather left of center, like us, so that would have to be to your taste.

Just to throw it out there-- I make my own and get it photocopied. This way you can pick and choose what parts you like from all the different haggadahs. It makes my happy just thinking about it

I love the 30 minute seder. Don't let the name fool you, it doesn't feel overly abridged or less than, but it does keep things moving at a nice pace (which is important for wiggly kids). They sell hard copies but I bought the digital version and print out a few fresh ones each year (ah, the spill factor). http://www.30minuteseder.com/index.html

We also starting using this book last year and it was a huge hit: http://www.amazon.com/300-Ways-Ask-Four-Questions/dp/0615150632/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1394225481&sr=8-3&keywords=seder+questions. It's not cheap but I only bought one and we passed it around the table and let people choose sections to use off and on all night. This year I think I'll copy a few sections out of it ahead of time. Some of the older kids at our seder actually took it and read parts to one another when they were waiting for the rest of us to finish eating.

I'm the pp who makes her own Haggadah. That 300 ways to ask book is my favorite book on the planet!! I have a whole bunch of languages copied into our Haggadah, and we go around and ask other ones from that book! Looooovvve it!! You haven't had a Seder until you've asked the 4questions in Klingon!
