After school care - how did you find it

Hi, SN mom here.

I am not posting here "seeking child care," but rather I wanted to pick your brains and learn what avenues the parents here have used to secure pt after-school care. Basically, what has been successful and what has not.

DS will age-out of his current program (just for elem school kids) in the fall and I am already stressing about what to do.
He is pretty self-sufficient, but basically I'd prefer to have an adult at the house.
The usual suspects --work at home, neighbors, sports clubs--don't work for us unfortunately.

And nervous about online ads.

Would appreciate any BTDT ideas/stories. (We are in Mont Co)
