I have been searching for dining room chairs that are super comfy. The kind where we could linger and drink wine and talk. I am thinking a high back for resting a head that gets heavy after a while!
Any suggestions? |
I thought this was going to be a spam thread |
It's not spam if you know of any comfy chairs. |
Frankly our cheap ikea chairs are great.

You are looking for something akin to the Holy Grail. My a$$ has yet to sit on a comfy dining room chair. I suspect, much like the Holy Grail, it is a myth that it exists. Good luck in your search. Please post back if you find one. |
Pottery Barn makes very sturdy, long lasting beautiful ones--I have these, but not the wing chair--I don't like it so much.

Pottery Barn comes very close, especially when you add seat cushions. |
Search "tufted hourglass dining chairs" |
Remember this:
http://www.wayfair.com/Douglas-Casual-Paula-5-Piece-Dining-Set-Paula-5-DGCS1006.html It may be ugly, but it's darn comfortable! I was just thinking: it is sad for our society that it is so hard to find comfortable dining chairs. Have we lost the art of table conversation? |
Yes the comfort of these chairs includes not worrying if they get trashed. hideous! |
Do you have them in that color, they are pretty. Some day, when the kids know how to eat without plastering food everywhere! |
We bought 4 from West Elm.Somebody returned 4 and we got the $75 each. They are better than the Ikea chairs above. We checked out the Ikea chairs when we found the West Elm ones. They have similar chairs at Home Goods/Marshalls,very comfi. |
Room and Board. They're leather, come in a few different colors, about $125 each. They look hard, but are actually very comfortable and supportive, and we can sit in them for hours. Bonus-- they wipe down! |
