Girls on the Run?

| My child is currently at a MCPS school and has participated in Girls on the Run for the past two years. Next year she may be going to school in Prince George's County. Is there a GOTR presence in the county? It would appear so from the GOTR website, but the two different links to PG councils that I found both led to inactive websites. It's a great program, really big in MoCo, and we'd be disappointed to no longer have the chance to participate. |

| This program is in schools that choose to participate. For example we have it at the school I teach at but thats because myself and another teacher said we wanted the program here and we contacted the organization to bring it to our school. That being said I am sure you could contact GOTR to find out if any schools in PG already have it and I am sure you could find out how to have it implemented at your daughters school. If no one wants to volunteer to chair it this may mean you have to help support it. |
