We have decided that for Lent we are going to try and eat only grass fed beef, organic chicken, milk, eggs, etc. only problem is we have no idea where to start to buy grass fed beef, etc. I know Whole Foods is an option but looking for more affordable options. Is mail order a more affordable option. Trader Joe's?

Giant has grassfed beef. Look near the "Nature's Promise" section of meat.

Trader Joe's has grass fed ground beef for $5.99/lb in the frozen section. They also have steaks but I've never purchased them so I don't know how much they are. Also check out Relay Foods.

Balduccis has some. Maybe it's not organic (beef), but it's hormone and antibiotic free, and grass fed. And delicious.
