Travis paid for tickets for friends and family, but did not pay for the VIP suite.

He paid for the suite. A little over a million.

Travis did not pay for that suite.

And every cheap piece of jewelry Taylor is wearing from him was gifted from businesses seeking publicity.

I understand that coach wanting to act like it’s not a big deal but it really is. I thought he was pretty funny on SNL and was hoping he was sort of the gentle giant with a sense of humor type, but now I think he’s probably got really rage issues. I don’t see this relationship lasting. It’s too bad because I think it’s good for famous people to find someone who both understands the issues in the lifestyle but also is in a different field so there’s no so much direct comparison of careers.

Except they really wouldn't.
He was fired up, not yelling AT his coach. I've seen far, far worse. Not that we're in a race to the bottom, but this is nothing compared to other sideline/coach stuff. You should hear the stuff coming out of the coaches mouth sometimes. Some coaches are just awful. Reid didn't care about this at all.

He basically shoved him. Not cool.

You can see in this video Andy bumping into Kelce the same way and yelling at him a month ago during the Christmas game. It's how they communicate which is why Andy thought it was no biggie

Uh, that video shows Kelce slamming his helmet into the ground in rage, and then Reid keeping someone from giving it back to Kelce and then going and yelling at Kelce about it. It's an example of Kelce being a hothead and Reid punishing him for it.

My read (heh, my Reid read) on the situation is that Reid did not want to make a big thing of it in their Superbowl win. He did not want to discuss something negative after the game, especially knowing how much focus was on Kelce in particularly. He wants the team to be able to celebrate their win publicly and normally and focus on everything that went right.

I think the team, and Reid, will handle Travis' behavior privately, and I would not be surprised if he winds up paying a fine and also having to do some groveling. I just think it won't happen publicly and Reid and the Chiefs will ignore questions and downplay it because they understand Kelce is a massive PR asset right now and they don't want to get into some kind of public conversation about his behavior.

This is a VERY football way to handle it. Public dramas and disagreements, especially between players and coaches are fairly rare in the NFL because they all know there's not much advantage to anyone to let things play out in the press. It's pretty much always best for the team to handle things privately.

Chiefs fan here. Reid and Kelce have been doing this act for years. He's not getting fined. Reid loves Kelce for his fire and passion, which he has been able to teach Kelce to channel into Hall of Fame play on the field.

It was a big deal. Not only was he screaming, almost knocked his play sheet out of his hands, but Reid was knocked off balance. The announcers even mentioned it. I liked Kelce until yesterday. He has anger issues.

Did Kelce’s family sit in the box with Taylor? I didn’t see them. Odd.

His mom and bro were there, maybe his dad too (don't know what he looks like) but TS was only interacting with her two actual friends there.

I liked TS until recently but for some reason her interaction with her famous friends at this game -- even who she brought along -- all just seemed like too much and very fake. And weird that they had the better seats compared to Kelce own family. It.seemed more genuine at the AFC game with Jason.

Taylor and her friends were seated in front of the Kelces. This could be Travis's last Super Bowl appearance and his mom and brother were behind the 6-month girlfriend and her girl squad?

I wondered about that too.

Travis purchased seats for his friends and family. Some of those friends and family visited Taylor in her suite throughout the game.

His behavior was awful. If I were Taylor’s mom I would be very concerned for her.

Did anyone see the article where Blake was wearing $500,000 worth of jewelry at the game?

Obnoxious and tone deaf.

I just want to summarize the varying sides of the "debate" on this thread, for my own clarity. Right now, it seems like we have the following camps:

1. Their love is real, and is glorious. Let's revel in it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a hater.

2. Their love is real, but they tacky. They are both money- and attention-grubbing and I'm over it.

3. Their love is real, but she's too good for him. It won't last, but let her have her fun.

4. Their love is a contractual arrangement designed to help their careers.

5. Their love is a contractual arrangement promoted by the NFL and BudLight.

6. I'm indifferent to the realness/fakeness of their love, I'm just tired of hearing about them.

Am I missing anyone? I'm somewhere between a 2 and a 3. Some days I'm a 6 but not today because here I am!

Their love is real-ish and who knows what will happen? Good luck to them.

It’s easy to fall in love when there isn’t reality involved.
Private jets
Sky boxes
Stylist curated date nights
Award shows
Snl after parties

I’m sure they are feeling it.
Who wouldn’t be feeling it?

She and her dh are awful. I hate how they try to portray themselves has hands on parents and down to earth sweet people while also selling everything under the sun (including alcohol despite not drinking) to make more and more millions.

So much angry deflection on this forum. Get a life instead of hating on others.

I heard or read somewhere that the relationship is a strategical step towards Taylor owning an NFL team.

That makes sense with Lively next to her since her gross dh owns Wexham. It would be awful.

Per Cosmopolitan magazine, Taylor and Travis are still “together” how much further this can go, and they can take it even post Super Bowl:

Probably, her father who is an extremely successful banker, or something like that, used to play football in Hawaii. I think the family is football obsessed.
